Job Vacancy : Senior Supervisor (1 post)

Department: Operation

Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Work Station: Dar es Salaam

Purpose of the position

Leading the Security team in the protection of assigned premises, assets and personnel . The

senior supervisor will be responsible for assessing the work performance of security officers

and develops training plans for the team.

Job description

  • Supervise Security Guards
  • Create training and development plans for security
  • Lead Security Personnel in security surveillance
  • Conduct inspections for physical and safety hazards
  • Perform Investigations and conduct Interviews
  • Lead emergency response drills
  • Conduct Patrols
  • Other duties may be assigned by managed by management from time to time.

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor degree education.
  • At least two (2) years of Security Supervisor.
  • Computer literate, an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products is essential (word, excel, mails and outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Kiswahili and English languages.
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocol and procedures.
  • Driving License (Motorcycle and other Vehicles).
  • Must be honest and be of good moral character
  • Must demonstrate leadership and good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multi-tasks and think fast.
  • Ability to work in a team environments

  • Answer and direct phone calls , taking messages as needed  
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area  
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and filing  
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars 
  • Assist with inquiries and provide information about services  
  • Support other team members with additional tasks as required  

Experience  

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any business related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite and basic computer skills  
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask  
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a Front Office Management in a busy  organization.
